Victoria Beckham is reaching a wider market with the launch of her collection for Net-a-Porter, an online store that sells upscale brands. The designer brand is dubbed timeless and elegant. Victoria has always had great style and good taste and it really shows in her line of clothing, not to mention the celebrities that are demanding her designs for the 2012 Oscars. A-list celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Charlize Theron and Gwyneth Paltrow to name a few have been fond of the designers collections however the new mother of Harper Beckham has had to turn a lot of the celebs down due to high demand.
Love, love, love, love it! Did I say love it? I love this brand of cosmetics and Bobbi never disappoints. The 2012 Rose and Gold theme was inspired by none other than her rose gold wedding band. The coveted shimmer brick comes in a new limited edition Rose Gold and Wild Rose combination and both have five bars with mixtures of pearlescent golds, corals, pinks, roses and plum hues. The perfect opening from winter to spring, warm and inviting. I have their bronze shimmer brick currently which is one of their top rated picks and that is also down to crumbles at this point but I will not waste one particle of it and once it is completely done I will immediately go out and get the latest Rose Gold! These bricks are the bomb.com and they compliment a lot of different skin tones very well. A dusting around the cheeks give your face that dewy soft fresh look. A sweep under your eye area gives your eyes a pop. These wonderful bricks also serve as an eyeshadow of course and perfectly at that. The shimmer bricks retail at $39.00 each. A must have in your makeup bag! 
I personally think Keri Hilson always has great accessories and great earrings 90% of the time. So what do we think about these? I actually think she gets away with it personally but that is my opinion. She was spotted at the Akoo fashion show for Mr. T.I. himself and his new clothing line coming out. She almost looked unrecognizable compared to signature short hairstyles. You decide. 
We are having mixed reviews on this one. The female employees of Sephora will wear a boat neckline shift dress in black with a red stripe across the neckline extending down the sleeve. The male employees will wear black collared shirts with the red stripe extending down the sleeves. There are other alternating pieces as well. This will be interesting.
This one is for the gentlemen. Mercedes-Benz launched it’s first unique fragrance for men. It has a combination of woody notes along with clean floral and citrus notes. The design of the bottle is by far very intriguing in itself, masculine but not over the top with a very clean look. This new fragrance was developed by none other than the renowned perfumer in the beauty world Mr. Oliver Cresp himself whom has developed some of the top fragrance brands for designers around the world. I smell a product review coming on.
Notice I said almost… I recently purchased this little lux item at Victoria’s Secret. It is a very sheer luminous cheek and face highlighter, the color I have is called showtime but it comes in 3 other colors as well. It’s very silky to apply but if you do not moisturize your face properly and then apply it, it comes off looking chalky, and if you have darker skin, ASHY to a certain degree. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad, especially at the $14.00 price point but if you want an even smoother lightweight feel and glowing results, I still say NARS cheek stick is probably the way to go.
Happened upon these beauties by Jimmy Choo that seemed like they could really go with anything. In all its blingy best, and at a mere $2’100 they can be yours. The mesh and crystal studded shoe comes in two colors, Anthracite and Ivory and measures up at 4.3 inches. 
We thought this was a perfect posh experience so I decided to write about it. Over the weekend I went to South Norwalk otherwise known as Sono, known for it’s mixture of classy and tasteful restaurants, shops & nightlife then combine that with art galleries and museums and you have an eclectic mix of entertainment. While there I went to a wonderful dinner with some friends. The place we went to was called Barcelona Restaurant & Wine Bar, which, is an award winning Spanish tapas restaurant, located throughout Connecticut and the greater New York region. However you would think that by visiting a restaurant and writing about it that I would be mainly speaking of their food right? Well this write-up is not completely about their food but about their phenomenal customer service and their Executive Chef Jodi Bernhard that demonstrated just that. I’ll try and make it brief but for myself as an ex-Nordstrom employee I value excellent customer service and I think so many customers when they receive it sometimes take it for granted and for businesses this is one art they should learn how to master.
