POSH: How long have you been a manicurist?
TT:Professionaly now its been 11 years..wow!
POSH: Was there anything that humbled you in your beginning journey to a successful manicurist.
TT: Yes there was.. I learned from a very good friend and knew I wanted to make her proud ..she still does nail to this day and is very humble and graceful at her craft as well as myself!
POSH: You obviously love what you do and you work with some celebrity giants! Is there a possibility that you would start your own line of polish?
TT: Actually I want to Teach as an Instructor and a Product Specialist for some of these major powerhouse Brands Like EZ Flow and OPI..as well as Launching my own product!
POSH: Assuming that you are still locate at the exquisite Purple Door Salon and Spa in Atlanta, when can people book an appointment with you and or view your portfolio?
TT: Well you can visit my official online presence @ terranceterry.com to view my portfolio and learn about proper at home nail care and events that I may be attending as well as booking and rate information.
POSH: Great! Is there any advice you can give to aspiring manicurist striving to be a success at what they do?
TT: Of course..First you must be good at your craft and continue to learn new trends and offer quality service and products..while not compromising your skill, but offering competitive rates..in our industry many Discount Salons have caused many unaware clients to frown on American Nail Salon..also Market & Brand yourself is so important..i also recommend to have a quality portfolio with high resolution images.and offer services with other industry artist ..ie; Make up artist/Hair stylist/Wardrobe/and photographers.
