Notice I said almost… I recently purchased this little lux item at Victoria’s Secret. It is a very sheer luminous cheek and face highlighter, the color I have is called showtime but it comes in 3 other colors as well. It’s very silky to apply but if you do not moisturize your face properly and then apply it, it comes off looking chalky, and if you have darker skin, ASHY to a certain degree. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad, especially at the $14.00 price point but if you want an even smoother lightweight feel and glowing results, I still say NARS cheek stick is probably the way to go.

What a complete honor to have had the wonderful privilege of speaking to such an elegant, beautiful and sweet woman who was kind enough to grant us an interview without hesitation. I first spoke with Claudette Robinson back in March of 2010 by phone in regards to her life and some of the projects and events she had going on amongst other things and we have kept in-touch off and on ever since. What a great person with a great personality a big heart and great story to tell, she is the epitome of class, no wonder why she has a song dedicated to her (“My Girl”) co-written by ex-husband of 27 years, Smokey Robinson. Motown founder Berry Gordy gave Claudette Robinson the official title of the “First Lady of Motown”, as noted in his autobiography, because as a member of The Miracles, (Motown’s first group and first recording act) she was the first female artist ever signed to a Motown-affiliated record label (Tamla). Several years ago, Claudette began writing her autobiography, “A Miraculous Life,” a book of her memoirs and of her life with The Miracles. In March of 2009 Claudette and  the original members of The Miracles were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I personally only asked Claudette a few brief questions so please take a moment to read our interview. Read More | Comments

From time to time we here at Poshology like to share some personal weekend ventures with our readers so I thought I would share a little piece of it. I had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful photographer by the name of Kevin Day he shoots for New England’s top modeling and talent agencies that include Maggie Inc., Model Club Inc., New England Models Group, Cameo and Click. I met him during a photo shoot in Boston, Massachusetts for a new young model. Kevin does phenomenal work and has extensive experience in fashion, editorial, print & head shots amongst other areas but besides that his personality was bubbly and contagious. Read More | Comments

I have to say every time I go into a Forever 21 store I feel like I am out hunting….. literally it is a process for me, if I know I am going to go there, I will dress comfortably in my “Hunting Gear” so I can find and try on all sorts of cute, sexy, comfy styles. It is thrilling to go hunting in a Forever 21 store. Forever 21 by far is also the place to be during a recession wouldn’t you agree, for women and men alike! Where else can you get quality denim jeans for $9.50?? When you find out, let us know. Not to mention the great decor, open space and atmosphere in some of the stores. I will always love forever 21 as long as they stay true to the trend and their remarkable prices. The other great addition to Forever 21 is there accessory store Love 21!!!! OMG! The greatest accessories ever for a great price. Even their shoes are hot! This store is a true gem and the genius founders should change the name from Forever 21 to Forever Ageless because any age group can find something to suit them in this forever trending place that can be mixed and matched and made age appropriate for anyone!  Fun Fact: Did you know that Forever 21 was founded by Don & Jin Chang who opened their first store in 1984 on Figueroa Street in Los Angeles, they referenced a number they felt was lucky and thought of it as an age of growing up and hence the name “Forever 21″ was born and the store still a major success today.

Torn on this look. The earring slash necklace look, we kinda like it but every time I look at one I am so tempted to pull it!!! Ouch!! Rihanna of course can get away with it. This unique piece of jewelry is designed by a woman named Dechel McKillion. You can get them on her website here or at 80′s Purple. If anyone remembers though, an 80′s singer once rocked a similar style and I think it is still big in the goth fashion houses I believe her name was Jane Child and she wore a earnose piece see pic below, that look worked for her definitely. Wonder if that was the inspiration for Ms. McKillion’s work.

By far one of the best products for oily skin is Zero Oil by Origins™. Our personal favorite! Literally with routine and directed use my skin became accustomed to the treatment to the point that after awhile I didn’t need it nearly as often anymore. I know just carry it as a just in case or for small touch-ups. When used correctly (I have even used it over my make-up for small fixes) it gives your skin a matte like finish and it has a very refreshing feeling without the over drying affect all day long. I also find this is a great anti-oil product for African American skin. It stands up to it’s name “Zero Oil” and that is what you get! Reviewed by Pasha Stocking ♥♥♥♥♥

Love it! These look great! i would definitely wear these as a hot accessory for summer 2010. The limited edition designs are based on the temporary tattoos that global creative director Peter Philips designed for the Paris runway show. Each pack contains five sheets (with 55 total designs included in each) and starting in mid-February they will be sold for $75.00 at Chanel.com . I guarantee you will see some celebrity strutting around with these on in the very near future.

h20scrubThis is still number one in my book of exfoliaters, I love H20plus products! Light and airy scents the smell good enough to eat (but don’t eat it) most contain a natural mixture of apricot seeds, jojoba beads, pumice, kiwi, orange peel, lemon peel.
