Who ever said the afro isn’t sexy? The 1970’s trend has been back in force more than ever and we think it looks magnificent and halo like, creating a mysterious aura of the person rockin it. It seems as if the newfro person is more concerned with the soul and or spirit, rather than material things. The newfro has more style to it and sometimes a bevy of soft ringlets or different textures. Read More | Comments

Of course they do! We LOVE the Blonds and their amazing color and design styles. It’s never boring and they leave you salivating for more of “what’s next?” For 2012 it was their bike theme inspired by the film Tron and it definitely was working but beyond the fashion aside, I am completely enthralled by the fashion design duo David and Phillipe Blond, Not only for their striking physical appearance and presence but for their intense drive and innovation. Founded in 2008 The Blonds have been steadily rising to the top and beyond, styling some of the biggest celebrities in the game. From Beyonce, Lady GaGa, Rihanna, Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry, Fergie, Adam Lambert and Lil’ Kim just to name a few. This years fashion show brought out some of fashions bold & best. Take a look!

Rihanna looked stunning at the Brit Awards wearing a Givenchy Haute Couture gown by Riccardo Tisci, the gown made looked very chic and glamorous on Ri Ri.  The subtle and simple make-up looked radiant and she pulled everything together nicely down to her hair. Loving the look!!

Got this wonderful idea from a fellow writer, Real Girl Glam™. Check it out! Look at how you can spend about $1.00 to transform your nails into something cute, fairly easy. As we know, neon is trending this spring and so we thought this was so cute we had to post it. You can look at the images and get the idea.

On a stylish note and in conjunction with the previous post, we are loving the blue polish and blue accessories worn by Bey, most likely in honor of her daughter Blue. Beyonce’s nail polish is by Nails Inc. London and its called Baker Street (not yet available for purchase) coming soon!

Love, love, love, love it! Did I say love it? I love this brand of cosmetics and Bobbi never disappoints. The 2012 Rose and Gold theme was inspired by none other than her rose gold wedding band. The coveted shimmer brick comes in a new limited edition Rose Gold and Wild Rose combination and both have five bars with mixtures of pearlescent golds, corals, pinks, roses and plum hues. The perfect opening from winter to spring, warm and inviting. I have their bronze shimmer brick currently which is one of their top rated picks and that is also down to crumbles at this point but I will not waste one particle of it and once it is completely done I will immediately go out and get the latest Rose Gold! These bricks are the bomb.com and they compliment a lot of different skin tones very well. A dusting around the cheeks give your face that dewy soft fresh look. A sweep under your eye area gives your eyes a pop. These wonderful bricks also serve as an eyeshadow of course and perfectly at that. The shimmer bricks retail at $39.00 each. A must have in your makeup bag! (the crushed shimmer brick image above is not part of the rose and gold collection but is their beige shimmer brick $39.00)

The sweet Rich Color Glosses are also bursting with new colors of Pink Gold, Pink Cocoa, Pink Sorbet and Angel Pink these sweeties retail at $23.00.   Available at Bobbi Brown makeup counters.

Notice I said almost… I recently purchased this little lux item at Victoria’s Secret. It is a very sheer luminous cheek and face highlighter, the color I have is called showtime but it comes in 3 other colors as well. It’s very silky to apply but if you do not moisturize your face properly and then apply it, it comes off looking chalky, and if you have darker skin, ASHY to a certain degree. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad, especially at the $14.00 price point but if you want an even smoother lightweight feel and glowing results, I still say NARS cheek stick is probably the way to go.
